Some researchers at the University of California, Riverside have concluded that there might not be a lot of extra terrestrials out there.

The scientists studied stars and planets and figured out that there are some that could support life as we know it, but not as many as they used to think.

The problem is that many are too hot, too cold, or are surrounded by poisonous gases.

There just aren’t a lot that hit a sweet spot that would allow life to thrive.
