West Palm Beach Couple Wins $10,000 For Their Wedding

Wedding Rings

A West Palm Beach couple is getting married this weekend, with some financial help from Travelers Insurance.

Daniel Scroggins and Mary-Madison Sims entered the "Dreaming of I Do" contest and they won.

The company, which provides wedding insurance coverage, provided engaged couples across the U.S. with the opportunity to win $10,000.

Their story of how they would use the prize money was selected out of 11,000 entries.

Scroggins, a graduate of The King's Academy in West Palm Beach, runs a program called "Ball at the K," with the "K" standing for King's Academy, where he hosts kids with an opportunity to play basketball and do other social activities.

Sims has also volunteered with children's programs and many of these kids have become good friends of the couple, so they've invited about 75 of them to their weddding, which is being held at Family Church West, in downtown West Palm Beach on Saturday.

Some of the kids, who are attending their very first wedding, have been fitted for dresses and tuxedos and will be in the wedding party.

Check out our conversation with the happy couple and join us as we wish them many many years of married bliss.
